About the role
The workplaces are Danyluk Park, Connaught Park and Mohawk Park. The work schedule is variable.
Job Description The work consists of taking care of tennis court reservations, the chalets, the numerous park programs and of providing some general information to the public.
EXAMPLES OF TASKS PERFORMED
- Handles the tennis and pickleball reservations (Connaught and / or Mohawk Park).
- Answers users and performs certain maintenance tasks.
- Ensures the skatepark safety rules are followed (Danyluk Park).
- Ensures people who rent the fields or facilities have the appropriate documents.
- Keeps watch on activities taking place on the fields and in the park.
- Answers questions from the public.
- Pays special attention to the risk of injury and provides assistance to any person with an injury.
- Provides advice and help to users.
- Wears a uniform (provided by the Town).
- Performs any related tasks.
SCOPE The tasks of the job require an exact order of execution. The employee has no possibility of planning or of organizing the activities, they are predetermined in advance. The work is normally closely monitored.
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT Mid-April to end of October 2026.
Required Training And Experience Certificates of competence:
- First Aid and CPR (Training available for selected candidates, date to be determined);
Requirements
- Bilingual;
- Skilled at dealing with the public.
- Knowledge of English is a requirement due to possible interactions with the Town’s residents
Mandatory training meetings : early April until the beginning of May 2026 (to be determined).
Please note: Candidates must be available for interviews in February or March 2026.
