Opportunity Description
Client Solutions Resource Centre 2 RC2 requires one 1 Senior resource for the multiple new and ongoing TIBCO initiatives as part of the 2025 Reuse Integration Development project.
The successful consultant will be working in the capacity of an TIBCO Consultant within the Client Solutions RC2 Team for the analysis development and conversion of existing and new integrations.
Background
The 2025 Integration Reuse Development project requires an Analyst/Developer resource for a variety of integration work. Dedicated resource will be tasked to develop update test and deploy integration streams as per project requirements schedules and priorities.
The City of Calgary has a mature TIBCO governance model and utilizes a defined framework for its TIBCO Enterprise Application Integration EAI development needs.
The City currently uses TIBCO BW versions 5.x and 6.x for our enterprise integration solution delivery.
Project Scope And Project Objectives
- Develop new integrations enhance existing integrations while adhering to a defined development framework and governance model.
- Support Client project integration needs by aligning project requirements to the delivered integration solution.
- Ensure delivered solutions are designed developed and deployed according to City standards.
Deliverables
- Build enhance deploy and test integration streams in accordance to defined governance model.
- Adherence to software development best practices in accord to the City ITs development community.
- Create or update support documentation and project deliverables.
- Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to other City Enterprise Integration teams.
Essential Skills
- Recent experience in the last 7 years developing TIBCO integration solutions in the following capacity.
- Gathering requirements, analysis and design of TIBCO services (5+ years experience)
- Developing, testing, and deploying REST services in TIBCO BW version 6.x. (5+ years’ experience)
- Developing batch processes in both TIBCO version BW6.X & BW5.X (5+ years’ experience)
- Development background in Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) & REST services. (5+ years’ experience)
- Development experience in JAVA, XML & JSON (5+ years’ experience)
- Experience with Oracle or other relational databases (5+ years’ experience)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in multi-tiered environments.
- Utilization of Team Foundation Server (TFS) / GIT.
- Development experience in .Net.
- Experience with HP Quality Centre suite of test tools.
- Experience with industry standard programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, JavaScript.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $95.00/hr.
