Position Description
The Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto is seeking a full-time faculty member in the area of Cardiovascular Surgery. The successful candidate will be expected to:
Main Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care in cardiovascular surgery.
- Engage in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Conduct research in cardiovascular surgery and related fields.
- Participate in departmental and university service activities.
Required Qualifications
- MD or equivalent.
- Eligibility for licensure in Ontario.
- Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fellowship training in cardiovascular surgery.
- Established research program with a track record of publications.
- Experience in leadership roles within academic settings.
