The Maintenance Technician works within a multidisciplinary team to perform basic maintenance, and repairs related to various Cool Aid buildings, suites, grounds, and equipment. The Maintenance Technician ensures that Society properties are properly maintained and conducts routine inspections. The Maintenance Technician position involves working closely with clients in occupied and unoccupied rooms, as well as common areas, often working alone.
Qualifications Education
- Grade 10, plus related vocational training such as a building maintenance course.
Experience

Two (2) years recent related experience.

Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Requirements
- Successful completion of the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check.
- Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clear driver's abstract.
Job Information Hourly Wage Rate: $29.17 - $33.49
Work Location: Various
Schedule : Monday to Friday
Shift Time : 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 37.5
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
Note: This temporary position will continue until the return of the incumbent, or at the point the position is required to be posted permanently. Union: BCGEU
