Job Description J&J MedTech (JJMT) Surgery is seeking a Clinical Specialist to cover hospitals across Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, and Guelph. This field-based role is based in Southwestern Ontario and is a contract position until July 2027.

You will work closely with the Ontario sales team, building relationships with customers to understand their needs and support them with JJMT Surgery’s products and solutions. The role reports to the Regional Business Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides product and procedural technical support and service, on the safe and effective use of JJMT Surgery products
  • Builds strong relationships with nursing staff and identifies potential gaps that need to be addressed with staff on safe use of JJMT Surgery products
  • Leverages case activity to identify opportunities to expand sales
  • Supports regional efforts of providing case coverage and technical expertise across a specific region
  • Develop strong clinical knowledge and build relationships with our key clinical customers

Profile Wanted

  • Education & Experience: A minimum of a University Degree is required; clinical support, nursing, or medical device sales experience is a strong asset.
  • Collaborative: Builds strong relationships with team members & stakeholders, fostering trust and respect.
  • Self-Driven & Goal-Oriented: Takes ownership of goals, acts proactively, and demonstrates initiative in advancing sales and clinical support.
  • Clinical Expertise: Deep passion for improving patient outcomes, with strong clinical knowledge to support product adoption and education.
  • Curious & Innovative: Continuously learning, asking questions, and developing new skills to better solve problems. Comfortable challenging the status quo.
  • Excellent Communicator: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Skilled at active listening, tailoring messages to different audiences, and handling complex conversations with professionalism.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
