MCW Maricor is seeking a skilled Professional Electrical Engineer to lead project teams on a variety of innovative projects across Atlantic Canada. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional service and value to internal and external clients.
- Prepare concept designs, load calculations, schematics, equipment selection, and system concept reports.
- Conduct site visits during construction and collaborate with field review teams to ensure ASHRAE compliance and LEED standards where applicable.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants or architects.
- Prepare contract documents, including specifications.
- Regularly update project schedules and provide status reports to the Project Manager.
- Evaluate shop drawings and ensure quality control.
- Escalate resource or project issues to the Project Manager as required.
- Support business development by sourcing new work and maintaining client relationships.
Qualifications & Experience
- Post-secondary degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline (e.g., Building Systems).
- Professional Engineering designation (P. Eng.) in New Brunswick.
- Experience in engineering design coordination and consulting projects preferred.
- Experience in multi-discipline project coordination and management.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is an asset.
- Strong understanding of current engineering principles, practices, and Canadian engineering standards.
- Proven project management and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate technical ideas clearly to non-engineers and executives.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, client focus, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Atlantic Canada.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $105,000 – $135,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
- Full benefits package and vacation included.
