Discovery Co-operative is hiring a Part-Time Yard Attendant I in our Lumber Department for our Home Store located in North Battleford, SK.

What you’ll do:
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming lumber and building materials per Discovery Co-op policies; maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies or damage.
- Deliver products efficiently and professionally, following all safety and legislative requirements; verify order accuracy and maintain delivery paperwork.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe lumber yard; sweep, stack, and arrange materials; follow opening and closing procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries, sharing store promotions, and promoting Co-op membership.
- Safely operate and maintain equipment, tools, and PPE; complete safety checklists, logbooks, and maintenance as required.
- Follow all Discovery Co-op policies and procedures; embody the Co-op brand and perform other duties as assigned.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Retail and:
- Basic knowledge of building materials is an asset.
- Co-operative retail experience is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is required.
- Must have basic math and reading skills.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and perform regular heavy lifting between 50 – 100 lbs.
- Will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Is an honest, trustworthy and results oriented individual who strives to be the best in what you do.
