Reporting To: Manager and Team Lead

Full-Time/Part- Time: Full-time

The Opportunity:
We are seeking an Application Developer II with strong experience in Power Platform, .NET technologies, and data integration. This role requires hands-on expertise in Power BI, CRM systems, .NET Core, .NET Framework, and SQL Server, including SSRS, SSIS, and ETL development. The ideal candidate is a team player with experience working in Agile Scrum environments and is familiar with Git-based version control systems.

How you will contribute:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate), .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
  • Develop and manage Power BI reports and dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and performance optimization.
  • Integrate and customize CRM solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using SSIS/T-SQL or similar cloud based ETL solutions such as Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data movement and transformation.
  • Create and manage SSRS reports to deliver actionable insights to business stakeholders.
  • Participate actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with QA, business analysts, and product owners to refine requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Implement and maintain Git repositories, branching strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

The experience you need:

  • Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) development experience.
  • Power BI dashboard and report development.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CRM systems (preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM).
  • Solid experience with .NET Core and .NET Framework for application development.
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, including T-SQL, SSRS, and SSIS.
  • Experience designing and implementing ETL processes for data integration.
  • Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).
  • Proficiency in using Git for source control and managing code branching/merging.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of cloud services (Azure, AWS) for application hosting or data services.
  • Exposure to other BI tools or reporting frameworks.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and/or microservices architecture.

Education:

  • Diploma or degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years working with the required technologies.

Working Environment and Physical Demands Analysis:

  • Office environment
  • Periods of high volume with tight timelines
  • Long periods of stationary position/sitting
  • Prolonged periods of repetitive movement (i.e. using a keyboard and mouse)
  • Long periods of time in viewing a computer screen
  • Multi-tasking may include speaking to customers on a telephone call while looking up information on a computer program.
