About the Team

Our Experience Design (XD) Team is at the forefront of enriching our customers’ lives with exceptional digital experiences and we need an experienced Product Designer (Senior Associate) to help us in our mission of changing baking for good. We’re looking for a team player who can apply their skills and talents to make a true impact on our customers.   • You possess a thoughtful, inclusive, and empathetic approach to design that meets every customer where they are
  • You continuously seek to improve professionally and personally through trial and error, experimentation and learning from others
  • You thrive in collaborative, team based environments where teaching, coaching and mentoring are a part of your daily activities
  • You have experience working closely with Product and Engineering and have a deep understanding of the processes and technology used to build next generation web & mobile experiences.
  • You are excited about the idea of working at our office that’s right in the heart of the financial district, 3 days a week
  • You have a growth mindset and are curious about exploring new tools or design methodologies to upskill your craft.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Be a critical and contributing member of the Experience Design team, focused on helping to influence strategy and execution of the overall user experience
  • Work closely with mobile product and engineering teams in an agile, iterative, data-informed product development environment
  • Help to define and refine user experiences, from supporting requirements gathering and user research efforts, through user flow mapping, prototyping, and UI design
  • Design experiences that make complex tasks and workflows simple and intuitive for all customers
  • Create prototypes, wireframes, sketches, user flows, journey maps and other digital tools to test and improve user experiences in collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of our design system
  • Collect user research and integrate feedback as part of your design process
  • Help to brainstorm and propose design solutions that take our products to the next level, while keeping the product direction, visuals and user experience in consideration
  • Help to drive design team culture by participating in and helping to lead ceremonies and team events
  • Help to champion user-centred design through demonstrating concrete design impact across the organization

Basic Qualifications:

  • At least 4-5 years of UX/Product Design experience, ideally with consumer and/or mobile products.
  • Product Design experience with a focus on native mobile (iOS & Android)
  • Experience with information architecture, page hierarchies, user flows, UX research, wireframing, design systems, and user-centred design principles.
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML/CSS and Generative AI.
  • Expert knowledge of both UX and UI best practices, theory and design processes. Advanced knowledge of responsive design and accessibility standards.
  • Expert working knowledge of industry tools - Figma, Figjam.
  • A portfolio that demonstrates your involvement throughout the design cycle, with a focus on your visual design, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills in responsive websites, and a showcase of design impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in Banking/Financial Services
  • Works effectively in an agile environment and is proficient in agile/project management methodologies.
