About the role

Our client, a manufacturer of cold weather apparel and accessories (for men, women and kids), is looking for a Technical Designer/Fit Spec to join their growing team!!! This person will be responsible for the technical execution of the products.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing of trims and materials
- Working with the art department to develop labels and artworks
- Technical design and tech pack creation
- Working on fits, ensuring proper fit and consistency
- Daily communication with vendors regarding product development
- Working with production team to ensure design is being realized
Requirements
- Degree in Fashion Design or relevant experience, experience preparing technical designs and creating teck packs
- 3-5 years of applicable experience (bonus if you've worked with winter fashion and accessories (hats, gloves, scarves, socks and slippers, base layers)
- Computer skills; Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop, Microsoft Office
- Well organized and a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills; both verbal & written
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing environments
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Knowledge of production cycle
- Driven and results oriented
- Knowledge of fit and garment construction
- Ability to multitask, analyze your workload, and assess priorities
