The Position:
We are looking for a BC Certified teacher to teach Math and Science Courses for the 2025-26 school year totaling a 0.2 FTE with the potential to increase FTE. This Innovations Course Specialist role supports the facilitation and assessment of Christ-centered online grades 5-12 courses in both asynchronous (self-paced) and synchronous (live) formats. This position covers the following courses:
Literacy Foundations Math 5 & 6
Physical Geography 12
Apprenticeship Math 12
Additional math/science course seats over the year as other offerings fill
Qualifications
BC Certified Teacher
Ability to manage, change, and adapt to varied workloads in a start-up environment

What we offer:
Competitive Wage: $15,000-20,000/year based on 0.2 FTE and depending on experience and certifications
Contractor model
Ability to combine position with other posted teaching opportunities within HCOS
