What You’ll Do:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles using diagnostic tools; perform required maintenance, part replacements, and test drives/operations as needed.
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance, including CVIP inspections; accurately document service records and coordinate parts procurement.
- Collaborate with technicians, management, and drivers to meet shop schedules and priorities while adhering to all safety, environmental, and HR procedures in compliance with OH&S and inspection standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace; communicate effectively with team members; support and mentor apprentices, recommend training needs, and participate in company training programs as required.
What We’re Looking For:
- Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician (HET) or a 4th Year Apprentice
- CVIP (Commercial Vehicle Inspection Program) License, or a willingness to obtain one within the probationary period
- 2–5 years of relevant experience, with previous work as a Journeyperson Mechanic considered an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills
- Solid knowledge of Health & Safety practices, including OH&S regulations, with strong attention to detail
- Employment is subject to a satisfactory background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
Bonus Points if You Have:
- Prior experience maintaining transit vehicles or a large fleet
- Experience Work Order Management Applications
- Class 1, 2 or 3 license with Q (Air Endorsement)
What We Offer:
- $44.50-$46.50 per/hour based on relevant work experience & certifications

- Mechanical work is performed on various busses including Motorcoaches in a secure, well-maintained facility that ensures a clean, organized, and safe environment for our mechanics.
- This role may involve occasional travel, depending on operational requirements.
