FORT MCMURRAY CATHOLIC SCHOOLS is accepting applications for an Evening shift cleaner atOur Lady of the Rivers****.

**Job Overview:**Reporting to the Coordinator of Custodial Services, the Cleaner performs cleaning and general maintenance of school interior/exterior, in accordance with established standards; performs daily routine security and safety checks; and performs other duties as assigned – details as per job description.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• General cleaning of assigned building
• Clean cafeteria, lunch room, storage areas, utility service areas, furnace rooms and boiler rooms
• Clean lighting fixtures and replace light bulbs
• Collect and dispose of garbage/litter within building interior and exterior
• Perform minor maintenance not requiring a skilled tradesperson
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• One year related work experience
• Ability to work independently
• Good interpersonal skills

The successful candidate will be required to provide a Criminal Reference Check and a Vulnerable Sector Check. FMCSD will contact past and present employers for references. All FMCSD employees are expected to be computer literate; this includes fluency with e-mail, Internet and MS Office.
