About the role
Dawson Civilis looking to hire a skilled Fuel & Lube Technician, responsible for assisting in the fueling, greasing and overall maintenance of a large fleet of heavy equipment.
In this role you will be a valued member ofDawson Civil,working in a temporary, full-time position ofFuel & Lube Technician, reporting to theForeman. The crew will be on varying day and night shifts on a rotational schedule of 14/7. Your base location will bePrinceton, BC. and will require some travel throughout our great province.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Be alert to risks or threats and work proactively to ensure safety of self and peers
- Give proper care to the operation and maintenance of the vehicles
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Must be capable of documenting and report on the status of the equipment to the Team Leader
- Fill out daily Service Reports and fueling records
WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience operating or maintaining heavy equipment
- Class 1 or 3 license with air brake endorsement is considered an asset
- Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) is preferred
- First aid experience is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- College or industry courses in heavy equipment operating is considered an asset
