At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.XThe Assembler position consists of documentation, assembly, electrical test, machine test and inspection. Each assembler may be required to work on any single phase of operations at a given time. Your responsibilities:
Cleaning and preparation of parts by simple chemical cleaning procedures; Mounting of product with epoxy and solder; Mounting of other components, e.g. hybrid sub-assemblies, with epoxy and solder; Hand marking of devices; Test components and assemblies once finished; Sub-assembly fabrication to be used on final product; Fibre optic attachment; The assembler may need to use the SAP system to make certain transactions; The assembler may assist the Team Leader in the training of new employees; Performing other related duties as required.
Your qualifications:
Possess a High School Diploma; Have experience in a manufacturing environment; The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team; Have good organizational skills; Experience with computer data entry (an asset); Good manual dexterity and visual acuity; Bilingualism (French and English) an asset;
