STUDENT POSITION
LIBRARY ASSISTANTS – REFERENCE
SUMMER 2026
The City of Dollard-des-Ormeaux wishes to recruit a student in information studies and who will remain full-time student in the fall 2026.
Tasks
- Answer reference questions from users in the children and adult sections
- Help with the use of research stations and the internet
- Creation of bibliographies and thematic displays
- Active and collaborative work in several library-related projects
Qualifications required
Qualifications
- At least 2 completed sessions in information science (library science) (required) or
- At least 4 completed sessions in documentation techniques (required)
- Bilingualism – French and English (essential)
- Ability to work with the public
Employment status
Schedule

1 position: Sunday to Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

1 position: Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

From May 4 to August 20, 2026

35 hours per week

Hourly salary $19.75
