At our Cambridge Facility, we fabricate and assemble components for heavy truck, defense, and off-road equipment companies. We feature fitting and welding, metal forming, saw cutting, painting, assembly department, and manufacture everything from small components to large structures, sheet metal to heavy plate.

Job Summary: As a material handler, the incumbent is responsible for

coordinating and moving material throughout the plant to ensure efficient product flow.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure parts are moved to the proper locations within the facilities
  • Assist in the staging and kitting of jobs as required
  • Coordinate the movement of inventory throughout the plants
  • Help maintain a neat and organized shop and yard.
  • Receiving of inventory as required
  • Assist Shipping and Receiving in the loading and unloading of trucks when required
  • Receiving and entering the product into Visual.
  • Any additional duties as required by the supervisor.
  • Follow all Occupational Health & Safety Regulations and Company Health & Safety Policies and Procedures

Educational Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma, or equivalent

Required Skills & Expertise

  • You have at least 3-5 years of previous work-related experience in the same or related industry.
  • Must have forklift experience in sit-down propane counterbalance and stand-up reach
  • Valid drivers Permit
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is an asset
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs manually

Equipment/ Tools/ Technology Used

  • Overhead Crane Training and experience with other lifting equipment.
