We’re looking for a curious, and organized, individual to join our Human Resources team as an HR Intern. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys managing details, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to make a meaningful impact on the employee experience.

As the HR Intern, you’ll be involved in a wide variety of activities that support HR operations. You’ll help welcome new employees by coordinating onboarding schedules, liaising with internal teams, and maintaining accurate records. You’ll also support internal mobility and offboarding processes, prepare employment verification letters, and assist with policy reviews and reporting. In the talent space, you’ll help maintain e-learning usage reports, and provide hands-on support for training sessions, interview scheduling, job postings, and campus hiring logistics.

In the area of total rewards and HR technology, you’ll generate employee data reports, track invoices, and draft benefits letters for employees. You’ll help keep the HR team organized by maintaining calendars, coordinating invoice approvals, managing vendor setups, and supporting internal communications.

You’ll also play a part in celebrating employee milestones and coordinating in-office events, including wellness activities and training sessions. Throughout your work, you’ll be a key contributor to a positive employee experience by providing timely and accurate information and support.

Qualifications

What You Need to Succeed

  • Post secondary education in Human Resources
  • Analytical Skills with the ability to visualize data
  • Proficiency with Tableau, SPSS, Watson, EMS and other Visualization and Statistical Tools
  • Strong Presentation and PowerPoint Skills
  • Understanding of HRISs and Interdependencies

To thrive in this role, you should be working toward or have recently completed a post-secondary education in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Some experience in an HR support or administrative role, is an asset, Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Outlook, and Teams. You’ll need excellent communication and interpersonal skills, discretion when handling sensitive information, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
