The open-pit gold mine is a joint venture between IAMGOLD and Sumitomo Metal Mining Co. Ltd. and is operated by IAMGOLD. We are located near Gogama, Ontario, with access to stable infrastructure and strong connections with our local communities.

Manager, Site Services
The Manager, Site Services is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all general services functions at the mine site, including site facilities, camp operations, transportation, catering, janitorial services, and site logistics. This role ensures the delivery of safe, efficient, and cost-effective services that support the operational needs of the mine and contribute to a positive and productive work environment for all site personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Area 1:
Strategic Leadership and Planning
- Develop and implement strategic plans for site services aligned with organizational objectives.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends and integrate best practices into service operations.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align site services with overall organization priorities.
- Support workforce planning, training and performance management.
Area 2:
Facilities and Infrastructure Management.
- Oversee the planning, maintenance and improvement of site infrastructure and facilities.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely repairs and upgrades.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
- Manage vendor contracts and service level agreements for site services.
- Plan and execute minor capital projects related to general services infrastructure.
Area 3:
Operational Excellence & Cost Management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across site services operations.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts and cost control measures.
- Establish and monitor KPI's to evaluate service performance and efficiency.
- Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process optimization.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements and Nice To Haves
minimum qualifications, formal education, certifications or equivalents
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Background in a skilled trade with equivalent experience will be considered.
- Certification in Project Management or Facilities Management is considered an asset.
Work experience - Nature & Length

- A minimum of 10 or more years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years of related management experience.
- Experience managing contractors and service agreements in a mining or resource sector is preferred.A minimum of 10 or more years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years of related management experience.

Additional qualifications - Competency requirements
- Results oriented with a focus on process optimization.
- Highly motivated and independently driven with a sense of urgency.
