LPN required for seniors' living facility.
Green Acres Foundation is seeking a team-oriented multi-tasker who is flexible, enthusiastic, has great leadership skills, and a positive attitude to help as a Licensed Practical Nurse at one of our facilities.

We are a self-motivated bunch who finds coming to work fun, so strong interpersonal and organizational skills are a MUST.
About the position:
- This is a Permanent Part-Time position.
- The position offers an average of 30 hours per week over a 6-week cycle, but more shifts may be offered based on availability.
- Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
- Shifts to cover in this position are: 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, and/or 10pm to 6am.
Basic responsibilities of the position include:
- Overseeing and providing direction to HCAs following a Care Plan
- Providing direct care and support to residents
- Monitor, assess, and report changes in resident's health
- Respond to emergency calls as required
- Distribute medications to residents
- Assisting residents with daily activities, including therapeutic regimes
- Complete all necessary charting, paperwork, and reporting in a clear, concise, and timely manner using electronic charting
Requirements for the position:
- Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma
- Annual proof of active registration on the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA)
- Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English
- A flexible, willing, and positive attitude
First Aid Certification and WHMIS Training is an asset.
