The Opportunity:

The Regional Marketing Specialist is responsible for enhancing brand visibility and driving community engagement at the regional level. Reporting to the Senior Brand Manager, the Regional Marketing Specialist will work closely with Franchise Partners, Store Operations, and the Design Team to deliver impactful marketing campaigns that align with national strategies while addressing local opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing, monitoring and assessing local marketing opportunities and activities.
  • Working with Area Managers and Franchise Partners to identify new opportunities within their regions, to increase local brand awareness and drive traffic.
  • Supporting Franchise Partners and Store Operations for the successful creation and execution of individual marketing plans.
  • Working closely with all areas of the Brand and Digital Marketing teams to ensure seasonal creative and messaging is optimized at the local level.
  • Building relationships with agencies and local media channels to support marketing initiatives.
  • Working with Area Managers and Franchise Partners to improve efficiency and effectiveness of local marketing materials, including analysis regarding ROI on local marketing spending.
  • Working with internal design team to manage all local marketing requests and ensure creative is aligned with brand standards.
  • Building tools to support training and education of local media and marketing opportunities.
  • Supporting the development of a repository for local creative assets.
  • Acting as a Franchise-Level Marketing Subject Matter Expert by staying informed of, and sharing, best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Well versed in traditional and digital marketing and media.
  • Experience executing marketing programs and tactics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong relationship building and relationship management skills.
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Possesses positive, can-do attitude and demonstrates initiative.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office application suite is expected (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
  • Experience in local store marketing, retail, food industry and a franchise organization would all be considered a strong asset.
  • Basic graphic design and/or desktop publishing skills is considered an asset.
