About the role

Broadstreet Properties Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and professional Captain – Phenom 300E to join our growing TCP 604 private corporate flight department based in Campbell River, BC (CYBL).

Operating under a pilot self-dispatch model, this role is responsible for safe, compliant, and service-oriented flight operations supporting both corporate and family aviation missions. The Captain will average approximately 250–350 flight hours per year, with additional duty days dedicated to training, operational readiness, planning, and administrative responsibilities.

This position requires a confident aviation professional who understands the distinction between corporate operations and family-focused aviation flying, where discretion, adaptability, and a calm presence are essential. The successful candidate will balance regulatory excellence with exceptional guest service while operating in a dynamic, schedule-sensitive environment.

Your contribution to the team includes

  • Conducting safe and efficient pilot self-dispatch flight operations in accordance with Transport Canada regulations and company standards in compliance with regulatory, safety, and company standards, including Flight and customs planning / Ground support and preparation / Elementary work / Aircraft readiness and stocking / Guest service and concierge support / Associated administrative work
  • Managing approximately 250–350 flight hours annually, including associated planning and operational duties
  • Serving as Pilot-in-Command on the Phenom 300E, ensuring full regulatory compliance and operational readiness
  • Managing flight planning, customs coordination, ground arrangements, and aircraft preparation
  • Delivering a high level of professional guest experience while maintaining operational focus
  • Demonstrating sound judgment and calm decision-making under operational pressure
  • Maintaining training currency, licensing, and medical certification requirements
  • Completing accurate and timely reporting including safety submissions, duty logs, and operational documentation
  • Participating in safety meetings, training sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Supporting mentorship and operational leadership within the flight department
  • Representing the flight department with professionalism when interacting with guests, vendors, and regulatory authorities

What you need to be successful

  • Valid Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL)
  • Type rating and operational experience on the Phenom 300E or similar high-performance corporate jet preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate or private aviation environments
  • Strong understanding of the differences between corporate operations and family-focused aviation missions
  • Experience operating within a pilot self-dispatch framework
  • Technical proficiency with modern avionics, electronic flight bag (EFB) systems, and digital flight planning tools
  • Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, schedule-sensitive environment
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and professional mentorship approach
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-oriented mindset
  • Adaptable, composed, and solutions-focused approach to complex or time-sensitive situations
  • Valid Transport Canada medical certification
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
  • Ability to meet security clearance requirements and regulatory background checks
  • Functional ability to push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs unassisted
