About The Role
Reporting to the Supervisor, Maintenance Processing, the Industrial Instrumentation Mechanic is responsible for the installation, calibration, repair, and maintenance of all electronic process control field instrumentation in a modern coal processing environment. This is a full-time hourly position that offers an attractive 4x4 day shift schedule.
The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary.
In This Role You Will
Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies In certain components of this role, it is mandatory to wear a respirator which requires an interference free seal Install, calibrate, repair, and maintain electronic process control field instrumentation Work in a team-oriented environment of instrumentation and electrical peers Perform all aspects of installation where required, including piping and wiring.
Requirements
Interprovincial Red Seal Instrumentation & Control Technician Certification Valid driver’s license Experience in an industrial environment Experience with control systems, DCS and PLC experience would be an asset Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required Previous mining experience an asset.

Hourly Wage: $54.63
