The impact you'll have:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will assist in the definition, design, documentation and implementation of business solutions in support of our strategic initiatives. This role will bring a technical lens to all solutions to drive industry leading best practices and implementations. This will include helping to coordinate business involvement throughout the development lifecycle as needed to ensure that the business requirements are fulfilled.

What you will do:

• Write and contribute to clearly defined and detailed functional and non-functional requirements, in conjunction with the business

• Conduct research and analysis of solution options where applicable, including analysis of fit to functional and non-functional requirements

• Work with technical teams to ensure the alignment and traceability of technology solution designs to business requirements, and evaluate whether a solution will achieve expected outcomes

• Liaises with QA and/or the delivery team to define the testing approach and scope

• Support user acceptance testing activities for the developed solution, including Develop test scripts in line with business requirements

• Take ownership over the work assigned and seeing it through to completion

• Participate in retrospectives with the goal of achieving continuous improvement as it relates to IT

• Build trusted relationships with business units and across IT

• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the business and the current IT environment

• Monitor the progress of sprints, identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, and liaising with the business to keep stakeholders informed of the status of work

• Liaise with other teams to understand and communicate key feature deployments, and managing the association of key features to releases

• Mentor other members of the team

• Review the work of others and provide constructive feedback

What you'll bring to the table:

• One or more industry recognized certifications in the areas of Business Analytics, Agile Methodologies, Change Management or Project Management.
• One or more industry recognized certifications in Salesforce and/or SAP enterprise platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills with proven application in the design and implementation of a business solution.
• Strong business acumen with a proven ability to identify business solutions using a variety of methods (independent research, voice of business, voice of customer)
• Demonstrated ability to self-learn and stay aware of industry trends.
• Demonstrated ability to ideate, design and execute solution delivery with a focus on customer outcomes and customer experience.
• Proven ability to present and communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally.
• A solid technical background with demonstrated experience in a multi-platform enterprise environment.
• Post-secondary Degree or Diploma
• 5+ years of related work experience
• Experience in large business transformation programs
