Field Systems: The Trimble Field Systems segment provides solutions to increase precision and productivity in construction tasks by empowering stakeholders to collect accurate information and manage conditions with cutting-edge technology.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing industry-leading APX and AP+ products, directly influencing the accuracy of global UAV and OEM operations. You will act as a pivotal technical expert, shaping the future of multi-sensor navigation technology while seeing your hardware and software integrations perform in real-world land, marine, and airborne scenarios.
Key Exciting Responsibilities:
- Spearhead product design and development by integrating embedded software, electronics, and sophisticated navigation algorithms.
- Own the system integration and testing process, ensuring high-performance standards are met through rigorous real-world evaluation reports.
- Troubleshoot and isolate complex hardware and software defects to provide innovative technical solutions for cutting-edge products.
- Act as the premier engineering expert for technical escalations, solving advanced field integration challenges that define customer success.
- Drive the delivery of fully integrated product releases, contributing to essential production documentation and operational manuals.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering (Systems, Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, or Geomatics).
- Proven expertise in real-time embedded systems and RTOS.
- Deep understanding of GNSS, inertial, and multi-sensor technology.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting complex integrated hardware.
- Exceptional communication skills and a collaborative team-player mindset.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with hardware/software integration for uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAV).
- Background in mechanical design or advanced navigation algorithm development.

Location: Richmond Hill, ON (Onsite)
Travel Requirement: 10%
