About the role

Midland Courier is currently seeking aClass 5 P&D Courier Driverbased inKentville, NS Terminal. The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, great and positive attitude, and exceptional customer service skills.

Main Role:

Manage time, pickups, receive courier/packages, and ensure an accurate and timely delivery service to our customer. Enthusiastic, great attitude and exceptional customer service skills are a must to join the team.

**Work Schedule:**Monday to Friday (0600-1700)

**Area:**New Minas/ Wolfville area

  • Follow established pickup and delivery procedures.

  • Accurately process daily pickup and delivery records.

  • Safely load and unload the Cube Van to prevent package damage.

  • Maintain company equipment in accordance with operational standards.

  • Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner.

  • Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent service.

  • Operate vehicles and equipment (e.g., hand cart) while following safety protocols and traffic laws.

  • Comply with safety regulations, company policies, and procedural guidelines.

  • Promptly report any incidents, accidents, injuries, or damages.

  • Education Required: High School or GED.

  • Class 5 driver’s license with a minimum of 3 years’ safe commercial driving experience required.

  • Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Able to lift to 75 lbs. using the proper equipment.

  • Excellent work ethic and reliability.

  • Safety conscious.
