We are looking for candidates to fill the following position:

Accountant

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support the Controller in all of his/her duties (monthly and annual financial statements, budget monitoring, etc.);

• Support the accounts receivables team;

• Participate in monthly analysis of financial results and balance sheet reconciliation;

• Participate in the preparation of the annual audit file;

• Support the controller in the integration of current and future acquisitions;

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and proper accounting and ensure their dissemination and application by all stakeholders;

• Evaluate accounting and internal control processes, propose recommendations for improvement and implement new processes;

• Contribute to continuous improvement projects of the accounting team;

• Prepare various analyses and/or reports as required by management;

• Any other related tasks.

Profile and skills we are looking for

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, Accounting Profile;

• Minimum of two (2) years of relevant accounting experience;

• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office;

• Knowledge of Acumatica software, an asset;

• Bilingual (written and spoken);

• Discretion, resourcefulness and organizational skills;

• Sense of priorities and managing timelines;

• Adaptability, team spirit and easy to communicate.
