Human Resources Generalist
Location: 1 Permanent Full Time Human Resources Generalist (Non-Union) in Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry
Salary: $ 83,720.00 to $ 94,585.40 annually
Description of Job:
The individual will perform a variety of labour relations, recruitment and onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, health and safety and policy development functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- CHRP designation (or in progress) is preferred.
- Minimum 3-4 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a unionized and/or public sector environment.
- Demonstrated experience supporting inclusive and equitable HR programs.
- Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation, labour relations, and DEI best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems and payroll systems.
- Knowledge of Canadian employment law and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Good communication skills in English; French language skills considered an asset.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and the use of an automobile.
