Course Name and Number: CIHR 2025- Remote - Research Assistant

Job Summary: Coordinate and participate in systematic review data collection and analysis for multiple on-going reviews related to cardiovascular outcomes following common heart failure interventions by age, sex, and race

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Assist with statistical analysis for academic publication
  • Assist with knowledge translation activities (academic writing, presentation, training modules)

Required Skills:

  • Systematic review process (required)
  • Clinical cardiovascular research experience (required)
  • Sex, gender, and intersectionality research experience (required)
  • Systematic review data collection
  • Advanced statistical analysis and related software experience (SAS, R, RevMan)
  • Academic writing and publication record

Required Education:

  • Undergraduate degree in health sciences (required)
  • Masters degree in health sciences (preferred)
