Description de poste – Coordonnateur du programme
OBJECTIF DU POSTE : Le coordonnateur du programme est chargé à élaborer le programme du ministère d’été, de mettre
en œuvre et de gérer le programme et de soutenir les SDOJ.
SUPÉRIEURS IMMÉDIATS : Secrétaires divisionnaires des œuvres de jeunesse (SDOJ)
TÂCHES INHÉRENTES AU POSTE : Le coordonnateur du programme est considéré comme un « gestionnaire » du programme de
camp. On s’attend à ce qu’il assume ses fonctions avec respect et tact. Il contribue au ministère d’été en assurant l’efficacité de la gestion
et de la mise en œuvre de tout programme durant l’été.
TÂCHES PRINCIPALES
- Accorder la priorité au bien-être spirituel et à la protection physique des moniteurs et des campeurs;
- Élaborer les programmes d’été;
- Faire en sorte que les activités du camp soient amusantes et agréables;
- S’assurer que les moniteurs sont accueillants et aimables à l’endroit des campeurs, dans le respect des règles de l’Armée du Salut
concernant les rapports avec les enfants et les adolescents;
- Mettre en œuvre les programmes et donner la formation nécessaire aux membres de l’équipe, selon les fonctions attribuées;
- Gérer tout le ministère des programmes de manière opportune;
- S’assurer que le coordonnateur adjoint de l’équipe affectée aux programmes remplit ses fonctions;
- Veiller à consigner les statistiques sur la foi et à les communiquer à l’Adjointe administrative des œuvres de jeunesse;
- Gérer des activités facultatives offertes aux campeurs (arts plastiques, sports, étude biblique, équipe de louange);
- S’assurer que toutes les procédures de sécurité concernant COVID-19 sont respectées,
- S’assurer que les moniteurs réagissent rapidement aux exercices d’évacuation en cas d’incendie;
- Être ponctuel à toutes les activités;
- Signaler immédiatement tout accident ou toute maladie au SDOJ;
- Aider à la mise en place et au nettoyage après chaque camp de jour et à la fin de la saison, on peut leur demander d'aider à la
fermeture du camp de jour (chaque corps, nettoyage et entretien général).
- Peut diriger les séances de dévotion du personnel;
- Ne pas oublier que le rôle du coordonnateur du programme est de soutenir les SDOJ.
AUTRES TÂCHES POSSIBLES
- Remplacer un moniteur lorsque ce dernier est malade ou a quitté son emploi;
- Remplacer les moniteurs pendant leur pause;
- À la fin de la saison, aider à la fermeture du camp (p. ex., inventaire, nettoyage et entretien général);
- Effectuer d’autres tâches assignées.

OFFICE OF THE DIVISIONAL YOUTH SECRETARY
Job Description – Program Coordinator
JOB PURPOSE: The Program Coordinator is responsible for creating Day Camp Ministry; the implementation, training, and management and support role to the DYS.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Divisional Youth Secretary
CHARACTERISTIC JOB DUTIES: The program team lead is considered the ‘manager’ of the camp program; it is expected
that they perform their roles respectably and with tact. They contribute to the camp ministry by ensuring the entire camp program is run and managed effectively. The following is a general list of duties related to this position:
MAIN DUTIES
- Holds the spiritual welfare and physical safety of the campers and counsellors as their first priority.
- Creating the camp and day-camp program.
- Ensures the camp program is fun and engaging.
- Ensures the counsellors are welcoming and loving to the campers while maintaining TSA’s standards for relationships with children
and youth.
- Implements the program and trains program staff for their respective rolls.
- Manages the entire program ministry in a timely fashion.
- Ensures Assistant Program Coordinator completes his/her responsibilities.
- Ensures faith statistics are recorded and reported to the Youth
Department Assistant.
- Manages activities (i.e. craft, sports, Bible lessons, worship team)
- Ensure that all safety procedures concerning COVID-19 are adhered.
- Ensures counsellors quickly respond to fire drills.
- Be punctual at all events.
- Reports illness or accidents to the DYS.
- Assists in setting-up and cleaning of each day camp.
- May conducts staff devotions.
- Understand he/she is a support to the DYS.
OTHER POSSIBLE DUTIES
- To cover a counsellor position in the event a counsellor is sick or terminated from day camp.
- Provide breaks for counsellors.
- At the end of the day camp and day camp season, they may be asked to assist in closing day camp (each corps, cleaning & general
maintenance).
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
The target hiring range for this position is $17.86 to $22.32 with a maximum of $26.79.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
