About the role
Job Description We are currently searching for a Proposal Coordinator for our Regina office. You will have the opportunity to drive and create winning proposals, be creative, and think strategically. This position will provide you with autonomy as you will be required to complete tasks with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for all aspects of proposal preparation, from concept to final product, in collaboration with Division, Group, and Project Management staff. You will also support the Operation’s marketing initiatives.
You will report to the Branch Manager of the Regina office but provide internal services to the entire team of the SK-MB Operation.
Responsibilities will include the following:
- Write content, prepare graphics, plan and coordinator, and monitor opportunities for proposals
- Develop and maintain proposal resource materials, as well as proposal metrics
- Participate in marketing efforts such as client presentations and receptions
- Assist with the development of proposal win strategies, managing the preparation of proposals in cooperation with Division, Group, and Project Management staff, as well as administrative staff
- Establish best practices for the preparation of proposals, and train staff in their implementation
- Track prospective projects, and assist with annual and quarterly revenue reforecasts as they relate to those prospects
- Contribute to the operation’s competitive strategy as it relates to client service
- Support grant writing efforts across the Operation
- May also provide administrative support to various staff in the Regina office, as needed
Job Requirements
What you will bring:
- Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or other relevant field ( candidates with Bachelor’s degree level of education in relevant field, such as Bachelor of Arts in English, may be given preference )
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in preparing winning proposals and presentations for professional services
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Creative; ability to generate unique content and “think outside the box”
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated attitude
- Committed team player
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Graphic design skills are an asset
- Experience working in an engineering or consulting environment is an asset
- Possesses a valid class 5 driver's license
- Limited travel may be required
Candidates selected for an interview may be asked to provide writing samples and/or a graphics portfolio.
