The Flying Otter Grill is seeking positive, enthusiastic dishwashers to join its amazing team! This is a great entry level position that will help you build a marketable skill set. There's plenty of room to grow for the individual who shows initiative and an ability to take direction and learn from those around them. Located on the seaplane docks of Victoria’s beautiful Inner Harbour at 950 Wharf Street, the Flying Otter Grill offers diners amazing west coast food, a relaxed atmosphere and incredible views!
Responsibilities And Expectations
- Operate dishwashing machinery
- Provide fast and thorough cleaning of all kitchen equipment and utensils, dishware, glassware, pots and pans
- Keep all kitchen areas clean, tidy and organized
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Assets
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Physically fit and able to stand long hours
- Must be self-motivated and a high energy individual
- Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment
- Previous kitchen experience is considered an asset
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
