We’re looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead the team at PUNCH Restaurant, located inside Le Germain Hotel Toronto Mercer—a refined, inviting space where modernity and tradition meet with quiet confidence. With a sharp eye for detail and a genuine heart for hospitality, you guide your team through the rhythm of service, adapt seamlessly to changing priorities, and create an experience where every guest feels seen, welcomed, and truly cared for.

Working alongside our restaurant managing partners and the Director of Food and Beverage, you help ensure seamless operations and an outstanding guest experience everyday and across every touchpoint.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Oversee daily operations to deliver smooth, polished, and personalized guest experiences
  • Lead, coach, and inspire the front-of-house team to consistently embody service standards and genuine hospitality
  • Manage staffing, floor plans, and reservations to optimize flow, efficiency, and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor guest feedback and proactively resolve concerns, fostering a culture of care, accountability, and continuous improvement
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and team development to build strong, consistent performance across the floor
  • Build, manage, and optimize team schedules while overseeing payroll processes to ensure accuracy, compliance, and labour efficiency
  • Ensure all service areas meet cleanliness, safety, and brand standards
  • Drive sales performance and guest count by delivering memorable dining experiences that build loyalty and referrals
  • Oversee all financial aspects of the business, including P&L performance, consistently exceeding targets for COGS, labour, revenue, guest satisfaction, and key KPIs
  • Manage building upkeep, equipment, OS&E, and supplier relationships to support seamless daily operations
  • Support local marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts in collaboration with the marketing team to strengthen the restaurant’s visibility and reputation

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Diploma in hospitality management or equivalent hands-on experience
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within a refined dining environment
  • Strong leadership and sound judgment, particularly in fast-paced or high-pressure settings
  • Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to create meaningful guest connections
  • Comfortable managing schedules while maintaining an active and visible floor presence
  • Genuine passion for food, wine, and delivering memorable dining experiences
