Position Overview

BELFOR is seeking anIT Support Specialistto provide frontline technical support to employees and ensure the reliability of end-user devices, applications, and systems.

This role combines strong customer service with hands-on troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues to help keep our teams productive and connected.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support via ticketing system, phone, chat, or in-person requests
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues on Windows, Chrome, and mobile devices
  • Configure and deploy laptops, desktops, and mobile devices
  • Provide technical support and basic training to employees
  • Maintain inventory and lifecycle documentation of IT assets
  • Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Google Workspace
  • Support collaboration and productivity tools
  • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity including Wi-Fi, VPN, and LAN issues
  • Enforce IT security policies including MFA, encryption, and endpoint protection
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT or network teams as required
  • Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, office moves, and new technology rollouts
  • Maintain documentation, troubleshooting guides, and FAQs
  • Any other reasonable duties as assigned by their manager.

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of IT support or help desk experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience supporting operating systems and common productivity applications
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals, VPN, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
  • Valid driver’s license

Working Conditions

-Due to the nature of our business, this position requires flexibility to work evenings, participate in an on-call rotation, and provide weekend coverage as required. -Manual dexterity for keyboarding, repetitive tasks, and prolonged periods of computer use, demanding attention to detail and high levels of accuracy -Periodic travel may be required.
