Paladin Security is Hiring a Healthcare Security Site Supervisor! Location: Yarmouth, NS
Pay: $24.50-$26.50 per hour

Paladin Security is looking for a Healthcare Security Site Supervisor to oversee operations across multiple healthcare facilities in Yarmouth, Digby, and Shelburne.
In this role, you'll play a key part in ensuring a safe and secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors while supporting and mentoring your on-site security teams.
What You'll Do
- Supervise and support daily security operations across designated healthcare sites
- Mentor and guide security personnel to uphold Paladin's standards of service and professionalism
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with a calm, proactive approach
- Conduct audits on reports, log sheets, and schedules to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Communicate effectively with the Client Service Manager and healthcare leadership
- Manage scheduling, staffing, and payroll accuracy
- Oversee access control, key management, and security procedures
- Foster positive relationships with hospital staff and visitors
- Support policy implementation, training, and staff development
Requirements
- Eligible for a Nova Scotia Security License
- Valid Standard First Aid & CPR - Level C (CSA-approved)
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
- Supervisory or management experience
- Physically capable of patrolling, standing, and responding to incidents
- Willing to complete Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) training (6-month commitment if not yet certified)
- Able to work days, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- Reside in Yarmouth, Digby, Shelburne, or surrounding areas
Nice-to-Have
- Current UoF and MOAB certifications
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or healthcare environments
- Familiarity with CCTV or alarm monitoring systems
- Additional language skills (e.g., French)
