Job Description :

The Systems Analyst, reporting to the Coordinator of Information Technology and material services, will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and coordinating IT systems and processes to help ensure the efficient operation and availability of IT resources at the College.

As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for coordinating and ensuring the operation and security of the College's physical and cloud infrastructures. This position is in Champlain-Lennoxville, located in the scenic Eastern Townships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage, analyze, and coordinate IT systems and processes.

  • Evaluate user needs and identify potential issues.

  • Implement programs and updates, ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Conduct studies to integrate new user- friendly products.

  • Handle incidents, identify solutions, and write reports.

  • Advise on the procurement of technological equipment and software.

  • Assist the IT coordinator to promote and maintain a culture of sharing information and knowledge, mutual support and teamwork.

  • Addresses and responds to security incidents.

  • Document the college's technological infrastructure.

  • Collaborate with the IT team for equipment installation and configuration.

  • Assist in the preparation of technical plans and packages.

  • Evaluate and set up hosted IT solutions.

  • Ensure data integrity and system operations.

  • Represent the college in the REPTIC community of practice.

  • Represent IT in committees such as the Techno-pedagogical Advisory Council.

  • Organize information and educational activities on IT resources and processes.

  • Manage, support, and improve learning management systems such as Moodle and Teams.

  • Other related duties as required by the Coordinator.

Requirements :

Education and certification
Completed undergraduate degree in an appropriate field of specialization.
To have one or more certifications in the field of information technology will be considered an asset.

With possibility of advancement

Experience
Two (2) years of relevant experience is an asset.
Experience in the educational sector is an asset.

Skills
As good professional and interpersonal relationships are essential to our work at Champlain, excellent communication skills are needed.
Candidates must be able to communicate in English and French, both orally and in writing.

Salary Scale : $54,442 to $93,306
