What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Hotel Maintenance Manager, the Hotel Maintenance Technician, will be responsible for keeping our hotel in pristine shape, presenting the property in a first-class manner, and ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, you’ll get to:
- Support the maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Work with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and upgrades.
- Follow preventative maintenance programs to keep our hotel running smoothly.
- Light maintenance, property protection, guest services and responding to and testing of building systems (example: fire alarms)
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Other duties as assigned from time to time.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift 50lbs individually
- Lifting >50lbs with another person(s)
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Repetitive bending
- Climbing / work from ladders
- Working overhead
- Crouching / kneeling for extended periods of time
What we’re looking for:
- Motivated, high performance team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Organized with exemplary attention to detail.
- 2 years’ experience in a professional setting supporting multiple team members, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- At least 1 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- A keen eye for detail
- A flexible schedule, with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
