What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Hotel Maintenance Manager, the Hotel Maintenance Technician, will be responsible for keeping our hotel in pristine shape, presenting the property in a first-class manner, and ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, you’ll get to:

• Support the maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, common areas, and back-of-house areas.
• Work with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs and upgrades.
• Follow preventative maintenance programs to keep our hotel running smoothly.
• Light maintenance, property protection, guest services and responding to and testing of building systems (example: fire alarms)
• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
• Other duties as assigned from time to time.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 50lbs individually
• Lifting >50lbs with another person(s)
• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Repetitive bending
• Climbing / work from ladders
• Working overhead
• Crouching / kneeling for extended periods of time

What we’re looking for:

• Motivated, high performance team player
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Organized with exemplary attention to detail.
• 2 years’ experience in a professional setting supporting multiple team members, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• At least 1 years of experience in hotel maintenance or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• A keen eye for detail
• A flexible schedule, with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
