Why this role is important The Senior Manager, Credit Cards – Product Management and Partnerships will be responsible for designing and executing initiatives to improve the portfolio performance of our President Choice Mastercard credit cards. In collaboration with Credit Risk, Acquisition, Marketing and other enterprise partners, they will champion and execute our annual plan to drive our spending, lending and meet our critical KPIs and profitability targets.
The Senior Manager will also be responsible for leading the strategy, performance, and oversight of external partners that deliver value-added benefits to the credit card portfolio. This role ensures that all partner-provided benefits enhance cardmember experience, drive portfolio growth, and meet financial, operational, and compliance requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Strategy and Development: Develop and refine client-centric value propositions based on market research, competitor analysis, and client needs. This includes defining product features, pricing, and grow potential partnerships.
- Customer and Analytical Insight: Understand user needs, consumer pain points, and market trends to inform the positioning of card products. Lead and collaborate with data analytics team to understand portfolio optimization opportunities and address target gaps.
- Financial Analysis and P&L Management: Manage the product's profit and loss (P&L), including financial forecasting, reporting, and revenue optimization strategies. Conduct deep-dive analysis to uncover risks and opportunities.
- Go-to-Market Execution: Collaborate with marketing, product, and digital teams to translate complex solutions into client-friendly narratives and execute go-to-market plans. This ensures consistent messaging and successful campaign deployment.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a strategic advisor to cross-functional teams (e.g., credit, finance, operations, risk) to ensure alignment and drive change management efforts.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all strategies and initiatives adhere to local regulatory, compliance, and risk requirements.
- Partnership & Vendor Management: Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and third-party benefit providers, ensuring alignment with program strategy, brand standards, and customer expectations. Lead end-to-end vendor lifecycle management including due diligence, onboarding, contracting, negotiations, renewals, and ongoing governance.
What You Bring
- University degree in Business, Commerce, Mathematics or Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in a Product, Marketing, Business Development in credit cards industry
- Distinctive problem-solving skills and very strong analytical capabilities
- Demonstrated ability to work in multiple priorities simultaneously and demonstrated track record of implementing results
- Ability to build and maintain strategic relationships and leadership experience is a plus
