About the Role:
We are seeking a Central Processing Analyst to execute key operational tasks that support the integrity and efficiency of pension delivery.
The Central Processing Analyst will work across departments to support data updates, document management, print fulfillment and support our members while maintaining service standards and compliance obligations. The role ensures that member, employment and PII data is accurate and complete, required documentation is received and reviewed, and communications are delivered in a timely, professional manner.
As the Newest Member of our Team, You’ll:
- Process and update member data including demographic changes, employment status, and personal information, ensuring accuracy and completeness in the pension administration system
- Support pension administration transactions (i.e. enrolments, compliance, etc.) and collaborate with internal teams to ensure that all required documents are collected, reviewed and uploaded
- Investigate and follow up on missing or inactive members using internal tools, external resources; coordinate escalations as needed
- Review and validate incoming documentation to ensure completeness, legibility and alignment with plan requirements
- Draft and send clear, professional correspondence to members or third parties to resolve outstanding documentation issues, gather missing information or clarify submissions
- Coordinate the preparation, printing and mailing of key member communication and track undeliverable mail, initiating follow-up actions to locate, update and reissue materials.
- Ensure fulfillment activities follow quality control procedures and timelines
- Proactively identify recurring issues or gaps in documentation and recommend process improvements.
To Succeed, You Bring:
- Post Secondary education in business administration, finance or related field, or a combination of equivalent training, education, and experience.
- Minimum one to three (1-3) years of experience working within financial services, Defined Benefit Pension Plan, public sector pension administration, or an outsourcing service provider.
- Proficiency with using Excel and the demonstrated ability to learn new software programs.
- Understanding of pension administration systems, working with pension plan texts and knowledge of applicable legislation.
- CEBS or PPAC, would also be considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills, and a mathematical aptitude
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Exceptional judgement, strong team player, thorough, and logical.
