Project Lead – Golden Agers Club
(Temporary Full-time until January 31)
CCS is a settlement agency providing a wide range of services to immigrants and refugees regardless of race, religion or immigration status.
The Project Lead is a functional role which is responsible for the program delivery for the Golden Agers Club. This includes overseeing project coordination, managing staff and volunteers in project delivery, fostering partnerships and networks with various agencies, CCAT member agencies, and the parish. This role works across both Toronto and Peel Regions. The Project Lead will also work with the Manager and team to ensure accurate data collection and enhance service delivery.

W****hat you will be doing:
- Manage the project delivery including outreach plan
- Organize and facilitate activities
- Coach, support and supervise staff, volunteers and student placements
- Foster partnerships and networks with external agencies including CCAT member agencies and parishes
- Manage the project budget
- Ensure program information is updated with any internal and external sites, calendars and newsletters
- Data collection and data entry
- Develop, compile and write reports and statistical analysis
- Periodically work on environmental scan, needs analysis and background research to make recommendation on identified needs and trends
- Work with Manager to test and build new initiatives to strengthen program delivery and innovation
Others:
- Participate on agency committees and special projects as assigned
- Participate in agency fundraising activities as deemed appropriate and necessary
- Attend required agency activities and meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned
What are we looking for?
- Post-secondary degree in human services, social work or project management
- Prior experience with seniors and programming for seniors an asset
- Minimum of two years of experience managing and leading teams
- Fluency in a second language relevant to the community is an asset
- Possession of a valid Ontario Driver’s License and access to a car is an asset
- A valid Social Insurance Number and legally entitled to work in Canada under relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
- Successful completion of a background check and/or vulnerable sector check upon hire
Location: Peel and Toronto, onsite
Compensation: $36.02- 40.1 /hour based on experience
Hours of work: 35 hours per week (4 days in Peel and 1 day in Toronto), including evenings, weekends and occasional overtime as required

Catholic Crosscultural Services (CCS) is a GTA-based, national non-profit organization, providing programs and services to empower newcomers, immigrants and refugees to settle, integrate and prosper in Canada.
From its humble beginnings in a downtown Toronto church in 1954, CCS has grown into one of the largest settlement organizations in Canada. More than 200 employees and 100's of volunteers deliver culturally-sensitive and linguistically appropriate programs and services in more than thirty languages.
