Job Description
In your new role you will:
-
Reliability Test Setup and Execution : Set up reliability tests for high-voltage power devices, including but not limited to Dynamic High Temperature Operating Lifetime (DHTOL), High Temperature Reverse Biased Test (HTRB), and High Temperature Gate Biased Test (HTGB). Ensure that all tests are conducted in accordance with established protocols and procedures

Automated Test Equipment (ATE) Operation : Configure, operate, and maintain ATE systems to perform electrical measurements on devices after reliability testing. This includes loading & maintaining testing programs, verifying setup with reference samples, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring accurate data collection

Reliability Stress Setup Development and Improvement : Collaborate with Reliability Engineers to design, develop, and refine new reliability stress test setups. This involves staying up-to-date with industry trends such as new platforms or new products, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing changes to existing test protocols

Lab Hardware Maintenance and Troubleshooting : Work closely with Hardware Engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical issues with lab hardware fixtures. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime

Device Under Test (DUT) Preparation : Prepare devices for testing by following established procedures, including:
Reviewing and signing off on job travelers to ensure accuracy and completeness

Recording device marking numbers for traceability purposes
-
Cleaning and preparing parts, sockets, and PCBs to ensure solid connections Soldering and de-soldering components as required
Your Profile
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
-
Diploma or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Power Engineering is required. A bachelor’s degree is a plus. Relevant coursework in power electronics, circuit analysis, and control systems is highly desirable

A minimum of 2 years of relevant industrial experience in a laboratory or testing environment is not necessary, but highly preferred . Experience with high-voltage power devices, reliability testing, and ATE operation is a significant plus

Proficiency in reading and troubleshooting schematic diagrams, including an understanding of circuit analysis and electronics fundamentals

Familiarity with electrical measurement equipment and testing protocols is highly desirable

Ability to work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to achieve common goals Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a focus on meeting project timelines and deliverables

The Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate in Canada is:
Minimum of $46,800.00 salary per year/ Maximum of $64,350.00 salary per year
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
