Responsibilities:

Accept and receipt; tax, utility and other revenue transactions;

Assist with general receptionist duties for City Hall;
-
Receipting of City operation’s transactions, reconciling cash and revenues received from other City
Departments;
-
Assist in processing monthly utility billing;
-
Assist in updating utility accounts including service disconnections, tenancy changes and payment
agreements;
-
Assist in monitoring data received from utility meter reads;
-
Assist in scheduling meter installs, inspections and repairs;
-
Assist with tax enforcement and taxation updates;
-
Assist with Accounts Payable/Recievable;
-
Assist with duties in the Finance Department; and
-
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Business, Office Education. An equivalent combination of education, training,
and/or relevant work experience may be considered.

1 - 2 year administrative or office experience
-
Certification with the Local Government Administration (LGA) or one year municipal government
administrative experience considered an asset.
