About the role

Company Description

This position focuses on the planning, coordination, and execution of in-store and shopping center events, working closely with the marketing teams. The goal is to strengthen Linen Chest’s brand awareness, drive store traffic, and enhance the customer experience through memorable activities and strong partnerships with shopping centers. The role also includes managing advertising placements and media opportunities in these environments to optimize brand visibility.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Events and Activations:

  • Design, plan, and execute in-store and shopping center events that drive traffic and reinforce brand awareness.
  • Manage the end-to-end process: ideation, logistical coordination, internal communication, and on-site execution.
  • Ensure that every activity aligns with Linen Chest’s brand image and delivers a memorable customer experience.

Relationship with Shopping Centers:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner shopping center marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with them to maximize visibility and collaboration opportunities (joint activations, cross-promotions, seasonal events).
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all brand initiatives and events organized in the centers.

Advertising and Media Placement:

  • Identify, negotiate, and manage the purchase of advertising and media placements within shopping centers (signage, digital screens, sponsored events, etc.).
  • Evaluate the performance and ROI of advertising investments in these environments.
  • Seek innovative opportunities to increase Linen Chest’s visibility among shopping center visitors.

Traffic and Acquisition:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers, including seasonal promotions, partnerships, and incentives.
  • Use in-store touchpoints such as QR codes and tablets to encourage newsletter sign-ups and strengthen customer engagement.

Public Relations & Coordination:

  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, communications, digital) to ensure message consistency during events.
  • Oversee the dissemination of event-related communications (press releases, shopping center signage, media coverage).
  • Coordinate with external agencies as needed (event management, public relations).

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Brand Strategy, Retail Management, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in brand strategy, retail experience management, event planning, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in retail or in a customer-facing environment is highly desirable.

Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute events and activations.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Creative mindset, problem-solving oriented, and customer-centric.

Technical Skills:

  • Good knowledge of design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and marketing platforms is an asset.
  • Knowledge of data-driven decision-making tools to analyze event performance and customer traffic.
  • Availability to travel to stores.
