About the role
Our client is a 30-year-old, family-owned building supplies business based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. They supply quality frames and trusses to builders across South East and Central Queensland, servicing a customer base that spans from Bundaberg to Ballina.
As the business continues to grow, our client is seeking an experienced Frame & Truss Estimator to join their expanding team at Bells Creek.
This position is ideal for an individual with solid estimating experience, well-developed technical skills, and a genuine passion for accuracy, teamwork, and customer service.
About The Candidate
- Strong communication skills - clear and confident, both written and verbal, with a focus on teamwork and building strong customer relationships
- Excellent planning and organisational ability, with great attention to detail
- A practical problem-solver who enjoys finding efficient solutions
- Experience using Multinail software (preferred)
- Reliable, proactive, and takes ownership of their work
Key Responsibilities
- Estimating and reviewing the work of other detailers
- Producing accurate take-offs and documentation for manufacturing
- Conducting on-site measurements where required
- Liaising with builders, supervisors, and engineers to gather job information
- Managing projects from estimation through to completion
