We're looking for a collaborative and strategic thinker to help lead the development of hospital and health system capital projects. ##About the job

In this role, you'll lead and coordinate hospital and health system capital projects and related programs. You'll bring strong policy expertise, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills to support provincial priorities and help shape the future of health infrastructure during a time of significant growth and opportunity.

As a Senior Policy Advisor, you will:

  • Develop and evaluate capital policies, programs, and standards.
  • Conduct research, analyze trends, and consult stakeholders.
  • Build partnerships and represent the ministry in key forums.
  • Manage issues and prepare strategic briefing materials.
  • Provide expert policy advice and implementation support.

###Policy and Program Expertise

You can:

  • Provide leadership in program and policy development, delivery and implementation.
  • Assess the effectiveness of policies and programs against Ministry initiatives and goals.
  • Interpret and apply policies, procedures, and legislation.

###Project Management Skills

You can:

  • Lead projects from initial concept through completion within specific timelines.
  • Provide project leadership and advice to an assigned team of professionals.

###Relationship Management and Facilitation Skills

You can:

  • Create and manage complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Work collaboratively to resolve issues, negotiate changes and shifts in priorities.
  • Lead consultations with stakeholders ensuring a shared understanding.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, sensitivity and a high degree of political acuity.

###Communication Skills

You can:

  • Create, lead and present briefings on complex issues analysis to senior management.
  • Respond to issues, provide recommendations and prepare reports using standard computer software.
