You are a seasoned Senior Project Manager with experience in a creative agency environment, ready to take on an impactful role. You’re passionate about delivering meaningful work for clients and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to every project. With a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude, you're undaunted by large project loads and can efficiently manage many projects at once. Your knowledge of project management processes and strong organizational skills, while still being flexible and solution focused, make you a key asset to any team.
What Are Your Responsibilities?
- Oversee and manage projects within your assigned portfolio from initiation to completion.
- Define, document, and communicate project scopes of work.
- Develop, track, and maintain project budgets and timelines.
- Coordinate and manage both internal resources and external vendors.
- Proactively drive projects forward, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within scope.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, managing expectations and updates.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings.
- Lead weekly status calls and budget reviews with key stakeholders.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Ensure the highest quality of work is delivered while staying within budget and timeline constraints
- Experience with integrated projects (including print, digital, content creation, and events)
- Act as an ambassador for the ways of working and for the project management practice within ChangeMakers
What Type of Qualities and Qualifications Should I Have?
- Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in a project management role, ideally within the marketing or creative industry.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, while also excelling independently with minimal oversight to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Highly skilled at managing competing priorities from multiple stakeholders.
- Quick to learn detailed processes and adapt to new systems.
- Ability to follow step-by-step instructions with confidence.
- Calm and composed under pressure, able to manage stress while delivering results.
Good to Have:
- Expertise in digital project management is a plus.
- Experience working in a Health Agency environment is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar project management software (i.e. Kantata)
Salary
The Canada base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $105,000. Our salary ranges are determined by job and level. Within the range, individual compensation is determined by job-related skills and knowledge, relevant experience including professional and lived experience, and/or work location.
