About the Role
The IT & Business Systems Manager is responsible for overseeing Abbott’s critical business platforms, with a strong emphasis on Epicor Kinetic ERP development and digital systems integration. This role will focus on technical development and process automation within Epicor, as well as managing Emun1 and other business tools. The role will also supervise internal support resources and manage third-party vendors responsible for infrastructure and endpoint services. This position works in close collaboration with the Business Process & Project Manager to ensure system enhancements align with corporate strategy and project goals.

Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Key Responsibilities

ERP Development & Application Optimization: Lead Epicor Kinetic ERP technical development and automation to enhance efficiency and scalability.

Business Systems Oversight: Manage the Emun1 and other core platforms, ensuring reliability and integration across business processes.

Digital Strategy & Process Enablement: Drive technology-enabled improvements and support digital transformation initiatives.

IT Infrastructure & Systems Management: Direct responsibility for company hardware, networking, system performance, backups, and security.

Vendor & Partner Management: Manage outsourced vendors, ensuring service quality, compliance, and escalation support.

Support & Supervision: Supervise and mentor a direct report, act as an escalation point, and promote knowledge-sharing and process documentation.

Reporting & Integration Support: Develop SQL reporting and ensure data accuracy across platforms and integrations.
What You Bring
- Degree or diploma in information systems, computer science, business technology, or related field.
- Preferred: Epicor ERP Certifications (Tools, Admin), SQL certification, Project Management certification (PMP/CAPM), ITIL Foundation.
- 5+ years of experience in IT or Business Systems roles.
- 2+ years in Epicor Kinetic ERP technical development and customization.
- Experience supporting ERP-driven operations in distribution, wholesale, or retail industries.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendors and cross-functional technology projects.
Technical Proficiency
- Expert-level skills in Epicor BAQs, BPMs, customizations (C#), and dashboard development.
- Proficient in SQL (MS SQL Server preferred).
- Familiarity with Emun1 or equivalent CRM/order entry systems.
- Understanding of API integrations, SaaS platforms, and system interoperability.
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Effective communicator with the ability to bridge technical detail and business objectives.
- Strong business sense
- Skilled at mentoring, team supervision, and stakeholder collaboration.
- Analytical mindset with a continuous improvement orientation.
