Job Description:

As the Hydraulics Specialist, you will troubleshoot, repair and maintain a variety of CAT components, such as cylinders and valves.

  • Troubleshoot and repair Caterpillar equipment
  • Perform a wide variety of equipment repair diagnostics
  • Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET daily
  • Complete technical documentation (service reports, warranty, crossover notes)
  • Interact with internal and external customers
  • Work with the Service Supervisor and Leadhand on various tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Journeyperson Ticket considered an asset
  • Safety conscious team player with excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • Previous repair and troubleshooting experience with Caterpillar general line products would be considered an asset
  • Engine and/or component rebuilding experience would be considered an asset
  • Transmission or Hydraulic testing would be considered an asset
  • Previous engine and power generation experience would be considered an asset

Important Details:

  • This position is based out of Prince George, on a 7x7 Continuous Shift
  • A condition of employment may be to be fit tested and wear a respirator
