Superior Glove Works Ltd. is seeking a motivated Customer Service Associate to join our Customer Service team.

About the role:

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, as the Customer Service Agent you will support both internal and external customers while helping deliver an exceptional customer experience. Hours for this role are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. EST Monday to Thursday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. EST Friday.

Location:

Based out of our head office in Acton ON, this position is remote with onsite training required.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and direct incoming calls to the company’s main phone line, including inquiries from customers, employees, and other departments.
  • Process customer returns, credits, expediting requests, orders, and quotes accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist customers with technical inquiries, product cross-references, complaints, and short shipments, including preparing required return documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and protect customer and company information.
  • Stay current with product knowledge and industry developments through training, workshops, and professional resources as requested by management.
  • Support special projects that enhance our customers’ experience and promote the Superior Glove brand, which may include tracking progress and preparing concise reports.
  • Contribute to team objectives and provide support on additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of customer service experience in an office, manufacturing, or call center environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, building strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience supporting distributor accounts is considered an asset.
  • Bilingual (French/English or Spanish/English) is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems an asset.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to occasionally work outside regular business hours to meet business needs.
  • Ability to travel occasionally, as required.
  • A proactive, positive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes with minimal supervision.
