Role Description This full-time Methods Agent role at CandLinked is a hybrid position based in Montreal, QC, with a combination of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Methods Agent analyzes, documents, and optimizes operational processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety across teams and workflows. Daily responsibilities include mapping current processes, identifying bottlenecks, proposing improvements, and supporting the implementation of new methods, tools, and standards. The role collaborates closely with operations, production, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather data, validate assumptions, and track the impact of process changes. The Methods Agent also prepares clear documentation, work instructions, and reports, and may provide training or guidance to team members on new procedures and best practices. Qualifications Ability to analyze and model processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose practical, data-informed improvements. Strong documentation skills for drafting methods, procedures, work instructions, and reports that are clear and easy to follow. Comfort working with operational and performance data, including basic metrics, KPIs, and trend analysis. Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and frontline staff. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple initiatives and deadlines. Attention to detail and a structured, problem-solving mindset focused on continuous improvement. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work both independently and within a collaborative team environment. Relevant post-secondary education in industrial engineering, operations management, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in process improvement, operations, or methods analysis in an industrial, logistics, or service environment is an asset. Proficiency with common office and collaboration tools; familiarity with process mapping or improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus. Ability to work on-site in Montreal, QC in a hybrid model and maintain a reliable remote working setup when working from home.
